This client has a successful business (one of the fastest growing as reported by Business First) and has outgrown their current space. They purchased a building and contiguous property for a warehouse and growth. We visited the site and did a walkthrough. The building has been vacant for a while and is in disrepair. That was the first clue the energy is off. I performed calculations on the building (as previous occupants would have experienced it) and it has a 20-year lock, which is very difficult for a business (or even home) to survive — thus the vacancy.
However, this client plans a major demo/renovation (walls, floors, ceilings, etc.). Therefore from a calculations perspective, this re-ages the building and calculations change dramatically. An architect has a floor plan drawn up so the clients are invested in the layout since they helped to design it. I asked from the beginning that if changes were necessary, how open were they to them. As anticipated, they really liked the current rendering (it was methodically thought out).
After discussing recommended Feng Shui changes (and why they need to be made), they are reconnecting with the architect for a modified floor plan. It is imperative the two owners are in the best energy possible, and the finance person needs to be in the building’s money area (this is NOT what most people as the wealth corner). The recommendations include moving internal offices, the I.T. room, copy center, receptionist, and windows. We’ll also be looking at the parking lot entrance and landscaping.
Everyone feels more confident proceeding, and the company will continue to excel. I suggested an additional goal of reaching the top 20 of fastest growing companies. Yes, I like to help clients establish goals and benchmarks. Some peers think I’m crazy for doing so because I’m in essence helping to create a measuring stick for my performance. That’s how I achieved the nickname The Feng Shui Results Lady©. A client’s success is my success. I’m happy when they’re happy.
You’ve heard me say this before, and it’s worth saying again … Feng Shui is a master planning tool. Save yourself time and money by engaging a Feng Shui expert prior to building the construction team. More to follow.
May you be exceedingly, generously, and joyfully blessed,© ~Diana
