Who: Castle Hills Family Practice, San Antonio, Texas
Why: When we met at the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin’s annual convention in San Diego, CA where I was speaking, they were moving offices to a new location and already had renovation plans drawn up. They asked me to review them before the build-out began.
What: Significant changes were needed on the renovation plan to improve the energetic footprint. We met with the architect and builder to modify the design. (See Feng Shui or architect first? Remodel or rebuild?) Changes included the entrance, lobby, administrative offices, nursing station, room assignments, finishes, exterior and interior colors, etc., and even future expansion plans.
Results:
- The new clinic became a medical haven for their patients.
- Attracted quality and loyal staff.
- Quickly recouped the new center’s investment as well as improved finances overall.
- Experienced positive results in their personal life as well.
