It’s 90 degrees so I wanted a Feng Shui recipe that was cool & healthy that I could conjure up from my garden.
I decided to incorporate all of Feng Shui’s five elements (fire, earth, metal, water, wood) to create a dish mostly from our organic garden.
I love cooking with feng shui in mind as it always helps soothe and heal my body (and it’s always delicious!)
The ingredients for this feng shui recipe are:
- Spiralized Honeycrisp apples
- Chopped cucumber
- Chopped carrots
- Chopped cilantro
- Nasturtium leaves (since flowers, which are also edible were yet to bloom)
- Kale
- Grated fresh ginger
- Honey
- Fresh ginger
- Balsamic vinegar
- Toasted sesame oil
- Coconut aminos seasoning sauce (available at most grocery stores)
Make a marinade of honey, grated ginger, balsamic vinegar, toasted sesame oil, and coconut amino. Refrigerate it covered for 30 minutes.
Toss the marinade with the apples, carrots, cucumbers, cilantro, nasturtium, and kale. Serve with toasted black sesame seeds & sunflower seeds. Add an edible hibiscus flower if you can.
