Changing the world one business,
one home, one person at a time
On August 5th of 2013 we moved in to the new space. With our heightening of our Feng Shui, our business has really take off. At the end of July 2014 we are $500,000 ahead of our sales goal for the year with gross margin the highest that we have ever had. The amount of asbestos inspection and abatement jobs have already surpassed what we did all last year, and this is only July. We have sent 6 team members to Aileron’s Executive Profession Management training and are sending more soon. We have completed our written strategic and succession plan and are implementing it now. We are so thrilled that the Company has reached a new level.
Diana is great to work with and the Feng Shui results are tangible and quantifiable. To read the entire letter of recommendation, visit this link.
The Feng Shui for Business workshop is an ideal way to learn how Feng Shui principles and practices can affect the success of a business. What you will gain will be multi-faced. First, you’ll learn how Feng Shui can help to energize and empower a location, the commercial building, and staff members in the building. In addition, since this workshop is being held on the site of the case study, you’ll be able to experience the enhanced energy and assess how your own business can benefit from Feng Shui.
Diana Garber, an internationally renowned Feng Shui Master, and her company, Intuitive Concepts, will take attendees through the process of how she evaluates a business as she walks them through the actual site itself. She’ll explain the methodology of how Feng Shui can play an integral part of the success, struggle, or even failure of a business. You will hear from Hina Environmental Solutions (HES) just how Ms. Garber’s suggestions increased sales, improved recruiting, forged relationships, and created a harmonious environment.
The case study will reveal how Hina Environmental Solutions (HES) purchased the building and had plans drawn up before they approached Diana to perform a commercial consultation on their yet-to-be remodeled place of business.
After analyzing the land, parking lot, building, and HES’ leadership team, Diana suggested the design change because she recognized the proposed redesign wouldn’t create the type of results the owners of the company wanted for their business.
Garber knew her suggestions would increase revenue and enhance HES’ success; therefore, she worked hand-in-hand with HES and Wesney Construction to create the best possible results. Her recommendations affected traffic flow, the parking lot, the exterior, the interior, and staff office assignments.
What was the result? Here’s a letter of recommendation HES wrote for Garber saying that in July 2015 they were $500,000 ahead of their yearly sales goal, and gross margins were the highest they’ve ever been! Then, after assessing year-end-results, HES said the trend continued. For 2016, they are greeting March with the same results! When they met with their advisory team, Brian and Susan Hina said, “we attribute our success to six factors – and Feng Shui is one of them.”
The March 17, 2016, event is free but registration is required. For complete details, visit this link.
It is helpful to close out the previous year and start the New Year by expressing thanks and gratitude. Wouldn't you like to hear from someone as to how you make a difference in their life? When we're acknowledged for good deeds, we're more inclined to do more of them. Do you agree? So over the weekend, I wrote dozens of thank you cards and sent them out. Remember snail mail and receiving a real card? With the volume of email these days, are you more inclined to remember a real card? I am!
Another thing you can do is clean out your files. I use this opportunity for business and personal files (including old tax records). From a Feng Shui perspective, stuffed file drawers can prevent new clients from surfacing. I err on the side of caution and likely keep more archives than needed so for the New Year I need to make some space in file drawers. I'm thinking of purchasing one of the scanners that does receipts too. I purge extraneous tax files and prepare for the new tax season. Some people dread this, but if you look at it that paying taxes means 1) schools, roads, and more are supported, and 2) it means you were prosperous, it helps. Make life fun! So back to filing -- if you find it hard to file because drawers are too full, you are telling the universe your business doesn't need anything new (clients, revenue) or you have enough work to sustain the business. Think of yourself and your business as an unlimited vessel -- ready to receive and serve. I'm a big fan of the number eight (see blog on prosperity numbers), so purge files for 8 minutes or 8 items at a time. Before you know it, your drawers will be tidy and new business will flow in. Lastly, as you work set the intention of attracting more business (or personally more loving support or fun). You’ll be amazed how well this works!
May you be exceedingly, generously, and joyfully blessed, (c) Diana
This client has a successful business (one of the fastest growing as reported by Business First) and has outgrown their currrent space. They purchased a building and contiguous property for a warehouse and growth. We visited the site and did a walk through. The building has been vacant for a while and is in disrepair. That was the first clue the energy is off. I performed calculations on the building (as previous occupants would have experienced it) and it has a 20-year lock, which is very difficult for a business (or even home) to survive -- thus the vacancy.
However, this client plans a major demo/renovation (walls, floors, ceilings, etc.). Therefore from a calculations perspective, this re-ages the building and calculations change dramatically. An architect has a floor plan drawn up so the clients are invested in the layout since they helped to design it. I asked from the beginning that if changes were necessary, how open were they to them. As anticipated, they really liked the current rendering (it was methodically thought out).
After discussing recommended Feng Shui changes (and why they need to be made), they are reconnecting with the architect for a modified floor plan. It is imperative the two owners are in the best energy possible, and the finance person needs to be in the building's money area (this is NOT what most people as the wealth corner). The recommendations include moving internal offices, the I.T. room, copy center, receptionist, and windows. We'll also be looking at the parking lot entrance and landscaping.
Everyone feels more confident proceeding, and the company will continue to excel. I suggested an additional goal of reaching the top 20 of fastest growing companies. Yes, I like to help clients establish goals and benchmarks. Some peers think I'm crazy for doing so because I'm in essence helping to create a measuring stick for my performance. That's how I achieved the nickname The Feng Shui Results Lady©. A client's success is my success. I'm happy when they're happy.
You've heard me say this before, and it's worth saying again ... Feng Shui is a master planning tool. Save yourself time and money by engaging a Feng Shui expert prior to building the construction team. More to follow.

2014 is a wind (air) year affecting respiration, allergies, airborne illness, and travel (especially air travel). I talked about this last October and we’re seeing it in the news, so it’s a good time to resurface the conversation. The year began with airport shootings and currently there are air-to-surface attacks between Israel and Palestine. Tornados, drought, and wild fires all are impacted by wind. If this isn’t an ah-ha moment, I don’t know what it would take even for the most avid skeptic. We’re a little more than half way through 2014, and if you’re up for insights that will last a few more months (and better yet offer tips), then check this out.
If you’re in central Ohio, I encourage you to attend The Traveling Warrior. I’ll cover health and safety as well as organization and fun. Having lived out of a suitcase for years, and many were disaster situations, I can offer insights that are essential in today’s cautionary travel environment.
August’s energy moves the 5 star into the NW which represents travel. August 10 is a super moon which affects gravity and tides. More information about this in our tip of the month. If you’re traveling this month, consider a date analysis (our monthly special). If your interest is peaked about the year, the month, or otherwise … please contact us.

I participated in Diana’s Myers-Briggs workshop via webinar and found it personally informative and helpful. Since I run an insurance business and truly want to make a difference in the world, I decided to bring Diana to Phoenix to work with my sales force and staff.
My business is all about people, so as a leader I need to equip and empower my organization with tools and skills that enable its and their success. Sometimes as business owners we need to realize we can’t do it all on our own.
I had specific objectives in bringing Diana out, and we exceeded them. Beyond the customized workshop and due to Diana’s corporate background and wisdom, she was flexible with my requests which resulted in a strategic-planning coaching session that included organizational structure, company goals, recruiting, and training. I have more insight as to where people’s strengths are as well as how to help them stretch; as well as how to grow my company.
